STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

• To provide health care services through medical providers for Indigent residents of Otero County who are not able to pay the cost of medical care administered.

• To assist both local and out of county medical providers with establishing eligibility for indigent claims.

• To inform and provide information to medical providers and the public regarding eligibility requirements and changes in policy.
