    NAMI Family and Friends Support Groups are free, confidential and safe groups of families helping other families who live with mental health challenges.

    Families join a caring group of individuals helping one another by utilizing their collective lived experiences and learned wisdom.

    Members can achieve a renewed sense of hope for their loved one living with mental health challenges and themselves.

    The group includes families and loved ones with schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, clinical depression, panic and anxiety disorders, including OCD, PTSD, among others.

    This group will meet the 1st and 3rd Monday's of the month.

  9. Veteran and Family Support PTSD: The Fight Doesn't End on the Battlefield

    Veteran and family support for PTSD.

    Are you a veteran from any era with PTSD, or a partner/spouse who is with a veteran with PTSD?

    For you PTSD is an all too familiar battle.

    The battle is not only fought by the veteran but also the families who are in the throws of its chaos, and need just as much support.

    You are invited to come to a newly formed group titled “Operation Team Running”.

    This group focuses not only on the veteran but the spouse/partner as well.

    The first meeting is Friday, February 15th at 6:00 PM.

    The group will be held at Open Minds Healing conference room at 1909 Cuba Ave #5.

    The group will meet every other Friday at 6:00 PM thereafter at the same location.

    Snacks and drinks will be provided.
